If you have been observing the pandemic closely you might have realized that it's growing at an uncontrollable rate and there seems little hope for the cases to go down any time soon.
So what about the education of the students?
Well, I have a few suggestions and opinions on this matter, So sit firm and enjoy reading.
The pandemic has a positive as well as negative effects on students, I have explained this matter in brief in one of my other articles "Here is why the pandemic can turn into something you have never seen before" Check it out , if you haven't.
So coming to the matter, what lies in future of our great aspirants? With this online mode of education can you be what you hoped for?
These are just a few questions which have very controversial answer,in most cases a student is not putting his best effort in the online mode. Exams (if conducted) are mostly showing off the chart results and, honestly most of us don't care about online exams and a lot of us cheat pretty shamelessly.
So what is the solution? Well there is absolutely nothing one can do anything about it unless the schools and colleges can adopt highly advanced security platforms to monitor the students, which I personally think is never gonna happen as it requires high expenses.
Now as I have told you the situation in the present, let's fast forward to the future...
So, now we know that the CBSE has reduced 30% of its syllabus, which I honestly think is an excellent decision taken up by them.
But what about the major entrance examinations? Will they cut down the portion too? Sadly there is very little hope for it but they might rather be postponing the exams to a future date so that the syllabus can be covered without any havoc. Its rather interesting to see such a situation, which has never occurred in the history of CBSE.
Well I would like to tell you one important thing.
Honestly, what am gonna tell you is not mentioned as a notification or as a declaration by the HRD minister, but I think that the students who are gonna give the 2021 boards have a greater chance of getting a fairly easy paper as most of the education this year is conducted in the online mode and everyone knows the issues with it.
Regarding the entrance exams though, I have doubts as the exams are conducted to admit a student in the most prestigious institutions of India and so I will never say that the upcoming exams like Jee mains/Advance or NEET or exams like BITSAT will be easier than the previous years.
As a matter of fact I really love the fact that the Indian government has revised the education policy after more than 30 years which shows that the government is improving it's policies
and is now considering the choices of students for a better, brighter future of the country.
In short, I just want to tell you that it's best if you make use of your time effectively and work towards your goals.
